Angel Cynova
Co-director
Angel Cynova is a fourth grade teacher and special educator in New York City. She graduated from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music with a BFA in Dance. She then went on to work for Cincinnati Ballet’s Otto M. Budig Academy where she served as both the children’s rehearsal mistress and a full time ballet instructor. She then moved to New York City where she taught for STEPS on Broadway and various other studios in New York.
Dana LaClair
Co-director
Dana teaches choral and general music at Stowe Elementary School. She graduated from Johnson State College with a degree in music education and classical vocal performance. She has music-directed, played piano in the pit band and performed onstage with Lamoille County Players, Stowe Theatre Guild and Lyric Theatre. Her most recent performances include Matilda the Musical, Shrek the Musical, The Wizard of Oz and The Little Mermaid at the Flynn!
Ella Kinney
Assistant Director
Ella has been a part of Poker Hill Children's Theatre since the very beginning and has loved every second of it! She grew up attending theatre camps every summer and has since performed in many shows with the Lamoille County Players and QuarryWorks Theatre. She is currently getting her BFA in musical theatre from the Chicago College of Performing Arts. Camp has always been her favorite summer tradition and she loves working with all of the wonderful campers and teaching them more about singing, dancing and acting!
Ari Franzen
Assistant Director
Ari has been involved in theatre since middle school and has always loved the community it creates. She has performed in numerous productions including James and the Giant Peach, Little Shop of Horrors, and most recently, Clue. Ari has been a part of Poker Hill Children's Theatre since its second year and enjoys contributing to it any way she can. Camp has become a highlight of her summers and she looks forward to it every year!
